Alan Sarlo grew up in Venice and his father was a lifeguard. He spent all of his time surfing and gathered a slew of surfing contest wins before he was old enough to drive a car. He went on to join the Pro Surfing circuit and competed around the world. He’s since retired from surfing and is involved in real estate. Alan Sarlo surfs even today in Malibu, Hawaii and wherever there is a swell.
